If you Google“the 71st Anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre”(in Chinese)on the Internet，you will be impressed by the video show of a girl’s special commemoration.After watching the video.I Was wondering where college students were.Taking into consideration their indifference to other historic events such as the May 4 Movement，we can conclude that college students lack the due social responsibilities.
However，we should not simply criticize their indifference，and analysis should be made to reckon with underlying reasons.Firstly，college students are imposed excessive pressure by the job market.They have to pay more attention to their studies.Secondly，many students believe that the history has already been borne in mind，and it is unnecessary to commemorate historic anniversaries each year.For them，it is better to internalize the humiliated history and work hard than to hold ceremonies without concrete contents.
To my way of thinking，college students should not keep silent on those occasions.It is our responsibilities to voice Our aspirations and let the society know that we have not forgotten the history.

For many college students，at the beginning of each fall semester，they will repeatedly be haunted by pamphlet ad distributors employed by various postgraduate tutoring schools.Those postgraduate tutoring ads are indicative of the popularity of cortege students applying to take the entrance examination for postgraduates.
Undoubtedly，those postgraduate applicants have their concerns. Firstly，due to the fierce competition in the job market，many college graduates believe postgraduate degree holders will have a competitive edge in the job market.Secondly，as many college students are not satisfied with their current colleges，they want to pursue their studies in prestigious universities.
However.a master’s degree is not a guarantee of a decent job.As the number of graduates with a master’s degree increases，many will have difficulty in finding their ideal jobs after investing so much time，energy and money.

Should Online Businesses Be Taxed?
As to whether online businesses should be taxed，there is a long-running concern as well as controversial debate.
Some people contend that online businesses are economic entities、with the purpose of making profits，so it’s reasonable and obligatory for them to pay taxes.Taxing online businesses also demonstrates fairness to both physical retail businesses and their online counterparts.What’s more，they will benefit from it in the long run.But others disapprove of the practice. They hold the view that despite the high e-commerce transaction volume， online businesses do not have a very high profit margin.Taxation may force many online businesses to quit because they cannot make money any longer.Besides.ff online businesses are taxed.the increasing costs are likely to be shifted to consumers.unfavorable for their healthy development.
As for my personal viewpoint。I support the former opinion.Now that online businesses are commercial activities.they have no excuse to be exempted from taxation.Furthermore，the tax-free model surely brings some benefits to online businesses in the short term.but it will become a great obstacle for the far-reaching development of the whole trade.

Holiday Economy
Holiday economy is not new to people all around the world. In China, it stands for the nationwide one-week holiday starting from October 1st (the National Day).The government established the week-long holiday back in 1999 to stimulate domestic spending.Tour operators, retailers, and wedding halls have been cashing in ever since.
However, there are shifting perspectives about holiday economy. Many people,including some economists,think positively about holiday economy.They believe that tourism-based holiday economy has increased consumption and helped to spur the domestic demands.While others,who worry about the negative effect of holiday economy,argue that holiday economy do more harm than good.For example,during the extended holiday, scenic spots are overloaded with tourists,and it not only spoils the relaxing mood of the tourists,but also overburdens the tourist attractions.
In my opinion, both sides are reasonable.We should take good advantages of the holiday to develop economy while trying to tackle the problems existed with practical measures.Only in this way can we not only enjoy the pleasure golden week endows us,but also promote the development of holiday economy soundly.
