　　GMAT中的閱讀單項一直被認為是廣大學員所頭疼的部分。很多同學說其他單項(邏輯、語法)都做了好幾遍了就是閱讀這個單項一直充滿著一層抹不去的陰影。而很多學員把這種陰影都歸于詞匯量的不足還有語法的不透徹所導(dǎo)致。其實詞匯量的不足還有語法的不透徹也不是讓廣大學員做不好GMAT閱讀的絕對原因。在GMAT這個級別做好閱讀的基礎(chǔ)不可否認要與詞匯和語法有關(guān)，但也不要擴大化了這兩個因素的重要性。一般情況下在復(fù)習閱讀之前把GMAT紅寶書過上兩三遍(或者把托福的詞匯復(fù)習的很好)就已經(jīng)算上有一定的詞匯量了，同時在了解一下在GMAT中喜歡常見的語法現(xiàn)象(如：ing 作伴隨狀語、過去完成時等)就足以可以幫助學員們能讀懂這個級別的文章了。如果文章能得到有效的解決那么我們就成功了一半了，再加上我們能夠?qū)﹂喿x中的題干有一定的認識或能習慣題干的問法(就是了解GMAT閱讀的問法和出題思路)，那么唯一剩下的選項實在對我們構(gòu)成不了什么威脅!其實如何提高對于GMAT閱讀問題的理解才是做好GMAT閱讀的關(guān)鍵，而這一切都包含在GMAT的官方指南當中。如果能詳細閱讀官方指南再稍加思索很多閱讀的題目就不再困難了。

　　對于GMAT閱讀官方分為六大題型，這六大題型分別是主旨題(main idea)、細節(jié)題(supporting ideas)、推理題(inference)、信息運用題(Applying information to a context outside the passage itself)、邏輯結(jié)構(gòu)(logic structure)、態(tài)度題(about the style and tone).其實稍加思索我們就能發(fā)現(xiàn)官方對于這六個題型的排序還有出題思路都透露了不少值得我們留意的做題信息。比如說前三個題型(主旨題、細節(jié)題、推理題)都是在考察同學們的細節(jié)定位需要同學們主動去查找細節(jié)信息再來做題，而后三個題型(信息運用題、邏輯結(jié)構(gòu)、態(tài)度題)考察的是同學們的概括能力，因為后三個題型基本上在題干中官方已經(jīng)給予了“強行定位”需要同學們在閱讀完官方定位的內(nèi)容后有一定的運用和概括能力再做題。除此之外在我們閱讀完官方指南各個題型的出題的思路后我們會發(fā)現(xiàn)各個題型之間的連帶關(guān)系更加明顯。比如說細節(jié)題和推理題之間的聯(lián)系，首先我們看一下在這兩個題型中官方給予出的連帶關(guān)系：

　　(識別作者原文中的同意轉(zhuǎn)述)

　　由這兩個出題思路來看的話推理題中有一部分的題和細節(jié)題的出題和做題思路應(yīng)該是有極大相似處的。

　　其實這樣的連帶關(guān)系在GMAT閱讀中比比皆是。例如主旨題和態(tài)度題的解題思路也應(yīng)該是大同小異的。因為解決這兩個題型的思路都以文章段落的“首尾句(主題句)”還有文章中“態(tài)度性用詞”來回答問題的，所以主旨題做的好態(tài)度題不會差。現(xiàn)在我們就來看看主旨題的具體做法。

　　主旨題大部分都是GMAT閱讀部分的第一個題目，官方希望通過主旨題來提醒考生考試開始并且希望考生首先掌握文章的中心大意。那么如何保證主旨題的正確率呢?首先我們要明白主旨題是在考察文章的中心大意，而文章的中心大意基本上都出現(xiàn)在各個段落的首尾句(主題句，其中不包括問句和直接引語)還有文章的態(tài)度性用詞。這是我們只要留意到這些就足以幫助我們做對題了。接下來我們看看主旨題的具體做法：

　　做法：

　　段落首尾句相加 (多段論：首段首尾句與尾端首尾句相加，或每段首句相加)(兩段論：兩段首尾句相加)(一段論：首尾句相加并注意作者態(tài)度性用詞和轉(zhuǎn)折)注意：首尾句不包括問句和直接引語。

　　答案導(dǎo)向：

　　N名詞(文章首句的主語居多) + 作者態(tài)度 (出題最多)

　　概括第一段 and (or) 概括后面的段落

　　例：N名詞(文章首句的主語居多) + 作者態(tài)度 (出題最多)

　　Coral reef are one of the most fragile , biologically complex ,and…..(主要名詞出現(xiàn))
